Allow yourself to scan your body, sensing the flaws and perfections inside.
Now look around and allow yourself to perceive your surroundings. Notice what and how you think about these perhaps "mundane" or "extraordinary" things. Asking yourself "why do I value this thing or item over others"?
Now imagine that item or object accompanying a glass of water on a table or surface. Imagine that you just received information that water has become extremely scarce. Now which item is more valuable?
Here we see that information that is processed by the mind can shift the importance of priority. Instantly what is rare or scarce has altered the state in which the mind is operating. Your brain is physically distressed. You worry, you're anxious, protective, even instinctual with a heightened awareness.
You conserve this water worrying every time you sip even the smallest amount possible. You become more tense, more stressed, more protective, conservative, instinctual only now your entire body is effected by this information. You're sweating, heart is racing, can't seem to calm down and soon you are consumed by this small thing. A glass of water..that meant less than a jewelry box, a pocket watch, etc.
Information can control.. and information can be controlled. Allowing yourself to react naturally is human, it is also human to control the time and effects of this reaction. To achieve the original state of mind you must choose to ignore the reaction. The practice of choosing your state of mind must be consistent. With time you will unlock capabilities you never thought were possible.
The mind it the vessel by which the spirit may communicate with other spirits. The information you accept or deny is yours. Choose carefully.

The Psychology of Control"
